Ski Update

The good news is it looks like everyone is keen to ski and a lot of positive feedback was received about the importance of the ski programme. Option 2 and 3 came in as the most popular options for families with comments that lessons for some would be useful but also the free ski time with friends and family is often just as valuable if not more valuable than the actual lessons. 

So where to from here? Parents will need to register their children for the 3-day Ski School via the Mt Hutt site using this link: https://shop.mthutt.co.nz/shop/product/237 (Note that as part of the purchase you will also need to buy a local schools pass if your child is aged 6+).

To enable Friday Skiing to go ahead I need to know how many adults will have a Mt Hutt pass as we will not get any free passes these days. We will need to set a ratio for Health and Safety to ensure we tick all the required boxes in that respect. 

Please can everyone head to this link to let me know if you plan on having a pass and are happy to supervise children for Friday Skiing. Please also respond if you don't plan on having a pass as that way I can be aware of how many adults may be available to help on the learner slope or be available to supervise children while eating etc. 

At the ski meeting it warmed my heart to hear the parents talking about how important this programme is and how important it is that we all work together to ensure the best possible experience for our children. Thanks again for everyones support of our little school. The ski programme is one of the things that is unique about living and growing up in Windwhistle and I am pleased to see everyone so keen for it to continue.
