Just another reminder around  the latest 'craze'.  These seem to have just arrived on the scene at Woodend.

While they can be of benefit to some of our students they are causing difficulties in the playground and in class, disrupting learning.  There are some students in our school that need a learning assistance tool,  however this is a decision based on  discussions with parents and staff.

 Fidget spinners are not for general use and students need to leave them at home.  If teachers see them they will keep them until the end of the day and give them back to be taken home.

We are looking at having a fidget spinner day or afternoon for everyone at some stage later this term.
