Today is Te Maunga’s highly anticipated Model United Nations Day.

From 8 am our tamariki have been setting up their displays, including costumes, food and information about their country. Throughout the day our countries will be debating topics including refugees, climate change and a secret topic all about the war between Russia and Ukraine. We are so proud of the hard work our students have put into researching a preparing for the day. Once our debates are over we will be having a shared lunch of all the food from around the world and presenting lots of awards including Overall team work, Best Speaker, Best Country Debate plus many more!
