Our Motto, Vision and Intelligent Behaviours are the Corner Stones for all that happens at Woodend Safe School. They incorporate the MOE Key Competencies, Art Costa’s 16 Habits of Mind and the Enterprise Attributes and underpin teaching and learning within our school.

Intelligent Behaviours:

• LOGICAL THINKERS are Reflective, and can Inquire, Problem Solve and Think Critically.

• CREATORS are Creative, Curious, Flexible, Adaptable, can Think Outside The Square and have a Sense of Humour.
  

It is expected these Corner Stones will be reflected in the way staff, parents and learners behave, interact and learn. Teachers are expected to visit these, in some way, on a daily basis. The Intelligent Behaviours will be promoted by staff as part of our programme of delivery, during all school assemblies, and supported through our school Topic approach. There is an expectation that all in our learning community will know our Motto, Vision and Intelligent Behaviours, understand what they mean for our learning community and put them into practice in all that they and we do.
