Cycle Sense

Our first group had a great time on Monday and Tuesday last week and had an excellent time out on the road. A quote from Theo - 'It was actually really great!'
Our second group goes out tomorrow.

Production

For those involved with Production and have yet to provide their necessary clothing for their performance, could your child please bring this into Te Ngahere in a named bag.

Camp

Camp is a little over two weeks! Another big shout out to our parents who we have confirmed can help on both days.

We have added a little more detail for gear for the first day

For the walk in on day one

  • A backpack/school bag
  • A lunch for the walk in.
  • A snack or two to keep the energy levels walking up the hill.
  • Water bottle.

Once again, if you need to review all camp info so far - go to this article (and bookmark it!) which we have put on the school website as well.

Chinese Festival

While our Kapa Haka students were performing at the festival, Te Ngahere students were learning Chinese Script and Blossom art. Some of you may have had your child bring one home.

Maths

We've been loving our Multiplicative Thinking focus for the last two weeks.
Look carefully at Estelle's work and equation and see if you can solve the shaking hand problem.

Without using google, can you use the equation above to solve how many handshakes need to happen in a room full of 13 people for everyone to have shaking everyone's hand.
