The Rata Team is the Year 3 and 4 area of Woodend School. Our team has been named after birds (Manu) from the whole school tree. Miss Burt’s class (Room 9) is called Kiwi, Miss Weedon’s class (Room 8) is called Piwakawaka and Mr Shekleton’s class (Room 7) is called Tui. Within Rata we have two learning spaces: the Jungle - where children can collaborate and share, and the Cave - where children can work on their own in silence.
