Louise Hayes —

The Te Awa team are back together and have hit the ground running as we race into term 2.

Kia ora e te whanau,

Assembly. Last week we held our first Te Awa assembly for 2022. The children did an incredible job and all of the teachers were very impressed with their behaviour despite not having any other assembly practice this year. They sat respectfully whilst a large number of IB certificates and also a handful of welcome certificates were handed out.

Congratulations to all students who received a certificate this week.

We completed the day with our Stars of the Week celebration. Photos of both are shared below.

We look forward to the day when we can share our assembly with our children's whānau

Perform Education. On Friday the 20th May the students at Woodend will have the opportunity to attend a show called Bigger, Better, Brighter which will be presented by Perform Education.

This event, presented by the Perform Education group, will be $3.50 per child or $9 maximum per family. Please send this fee to your child's pakeke teacher in by Friday Week 2 OR via internet banking with Perform Education as the reference to enable your child to attend this show.
