Blue Light Police Challenge

ruby hales —

Find out about the students that did the fun and challenging police training at Blue Light!

Kia ora everyone, this week on Tuesday eight students from Te Maunga went to the Blue Light Police Challenge in Christchurch. This was such a cool opportunity.

They had a bunch of fun and challenging activities to complete. I interviewed Hayley and Siena and here are some of the activities they did:

They had to climb over walls, learnt how to do CPR, completed a radar running course. They also did a police obstacle course and they had to use lots of team work. They did more team work challenges like getting a tennis ball from one end of the field to the other only using a short length of pipe cut in half each, and many more fun activities. They also had the opportunity to get in a police car and get to learn about all the equipment they use. They had such a blast and hope to do it again.

What an awesome opportunity for our Te Maunga students!
