A huge congratulations to Jack Sands (Te Maunga) who has had some fantastic results recently in Softball.

Jack firstly made the U15 Kaiapoi Softball Team (When he was 11!) and his team went on to win the South Island Comp (earlier this year) and Canterbury Champs last weekend. Due to his success in the team, he was offered the opportunity to trial for the NZ U12 Baseball team.

In one game Jack hit 1000 despite being the youngest in his team. To top off the season Jacks team played the parents team (including Dad coach Mike) and in Jacks words he 'smoked them'.
