Uniform
Students are expected and encourage to take a pride in their general appearance. The uniform is as follows:
We do have limited stocks of second hand uniform available from time to time which is sold on behalf of. Contact the office for further information if required.
Girls
- Bottle green polar fleece or sweatshirt with school logo
- Navy blue track pants / leggings/ school shorts
- Bottle green or white (long or short sleeved) polo shirt or skivvy
- School culottes or dress for summer (green gingham check)
- School winter weight culottes (navy)
- Navy brimmed sun hats Terms 1 & 4(bucket or full brim styles acceptable)
Boys
- Bottle green polar fleece or sweatshirt with school logo
- Navy blue track pants / trousers / school shorts
- Bottle green or white (long or short sleeved) polo shirt or skivvy
- Navy brimmed sun hats Terms 1 & 4 (bucket or full brim styles acceptable)
- Hair should be neat and tidy and of natural colour. No hats are to be worn inside. Students with hair longer than shoulder length will be required to tie it back.
- Footwear must be worn at all times, except with a teacher’s permission. Shoes must be suitable for the activities students engage in during the day at school i.e. no jandals or open sandals.
- Socks and tights for girls, must be navy, white, or bottle green.
- Thermals, if worn, are navy or white in colour.
The uniform is available from Rangiora Warehouse.
Some second hand uniform articles are available from the school office.
- The only jewellery permitted at school is items of cultural significance and these should be kept out of sight as much as possible.
- Earrings – one stud in each ear or a small sleeper is permitted.
- Nail polish and makeup are not to be worn to school. This includes the wearing of fake eyelashes and fake fingernails.
The consequences of breaching the dress code begin with the teacher speaking to the student about the breach, and then contacting the parent if the breach continues. Continued non-compliance will involve contact between the principal or deputy principal and the parents.
