Many thanks for the amazing support Waiau School has received from our school families.  It is most appreciated.

We have been advised that two families from the school have lost everything. They have had to walk away from their houses with virtually the clothes on their backs, however they are in good spirits.   What they are needing is clothing and bedding.  The sizes for clothing required are as follows:   11 and 12 year old boy and girl.  5 and 7 year old girls clothing and 5 year old boys clothing.

With regard to the bedding, the best option if you think you have items to give is to notify Chris in the office and we will work through a list so that we can best obtain particular bedding items.  You are welcome to email Chris on c.bucknell@woodend.school.nz  We are in the process of getting more information around more specific household items.
