Kia ora e te whānau - Te Hapua Team - Week 3
What a wonderful start to the week we have had in Te Hapua. This is a busy term full of many exciting events. Please read on to find out a little more about these events.
Assembly and Black Out Day: This Friday (tomorrow) we welcome the students to dress in black to support the All Blacks or green for South Africa in the rugby world cup final. This Friday will also be our team assembly. This will be held at the Community Centre at 9.40am. If your child is getting a certificate at this assembly, their pakeke teacher will let you know. Mrs Bartlett's class will be sharing art work.
Te Hapua Production: This event will be held in the Community Centre at 10am and 1.30pm on Friday 3rd November. Gold Coin entry. We welcome whānau at this performance and would appreciate parent help for changing and prep before these shows. Please let your child's pakeke teacher know if you are able to help on this day. Please pop in to see your pakake teacher if you have offered to help with costumes eg washing, stitching or ironing as we will be holding our full dress rehearsal next Tuesday.
We have attached photos below of hairstyles that are required for each group. We would appreciate the students being sent with this hairstyle on both Tuesday and Friday next week. If you are unable to do this, please send a comb, hair ties, clips and spray along with your child and let your child's teacher know so we can organise someone to do their hair at school. Please spray and gel all hair styles - ribbons and hats will be attached at school.
Boys hairstyle for all four classes: Funky or styled (mohawk, slicked down or scrunched). Please see the information below for the girl hairstyles.
