Introducing some of our Student Leaders- Estelle

Estelle Greyling —

Our student leaders have been given the chance to introduce themselves in the school newsletter, keep an eye on the newsletters over the next few weeks to get to know them all!

Estelle Greyling-

Hello everyone, my name is Estelle and I am one of the student leaders of 2025, I have also recently been given the role of Pou Manawa which I am so grateful for.

Some cool things about me are I love to play netball, my parents are from South Africa but I was born in Nelson. I am in the Tauhou Whare Manu group. My favourite colour is navy blue and light yellow. My birthday is the 14th of February more commonly known as Valentine’s Day. My favourite animal is puppies. I love to hangout with my friends and my favourite food is sushi.

I started Woodend school in year 2 and I have loved being here ever since, I love taking part in lots of activities and I enjoy learning new things. Becoming a student leader was one of the best decisions I have made and I love my role on the team. I love working with the students and love it when I am busy doing work or helping out.

I hope I can make a difference in your child(rens) life at Woodend school and help them to have a great year. I am really excited to get to know everyone better and be more involved in the school community. I am hoping for a great year ahead and lots of fun and excitement to come.

Ngā Mihi Nui,

Estelle
