How long have you worked at Woodend School and what team are you in now?

I have worked at Woodend for almost four years now and I am a team leader for the syndicate- Te Peka but I am actually retiring at the end of Term 4.

What are 3 things you like to do outside of school?

I love to do cycling ,swimming, knitting and crocheting on the weekend.

What is your favourite part of being a team leader?

I wanted to become a team leader because I love watching the kids grow and watch them go through the stages of their life.

Why did you decide to become the team leader for Te Peka?

The funny thing is when Te Peka opened up, they opened a brand new role as the team leader of Te Peka, so I said I would do it just to help set up the classrooms and make it easy for the teachers.
