Google Classroom is an awesome way your teachers are going to be able to set your work while at home. However there are some rules and guidelines you need to follow to ensure it works well.

Your teachers are able to set your work so that you can access it through your google identity. You will see that you have been added to different classrooms for different subjects: Reading, Writing, Numeracy and Mahi Tupu (Growth Work).

Each task will ask you to record your work in different ways, please read the instructions carefully to find out which one you should use. We understand that everyone likes to work in different ways. We will ensure that there are always options for both digital and written work to be displayed (photo upload). In Writing especially, we encourage you to write with pencil and paper just as much as typed.

Your teachers are then able to view and comment on your work and while working from home they will check in to see what you have been up to.

You are also able to comment on other peoples work, as always the rule remains "Put people up, not down".

If you are unsure of what to do, are confused on how to present your task or are having issues logging in, please email your teacher or comment in the correct Google Classroom. The teachers are working hard to make sure you have lots of fun activities to do and while we love to hear from you, please make sure your comments are necessary.

Mrs Parker, Mr Crawford and Miss Loose will all be making diaries so you can see what we are up to at home. Please do the same, we would love to see!
