This Term Te Awa has been learning about a character called Flat Stanley. Please read to find out more about where he has been.

Flat Stanley was made flat when his bulletin board fell on him. He found out that there were many positive things about being flat. One of these things was that he could fit into an envelope to travel the world. Each student in Te Awa has created his or her own Flat Stanley to travel around the world. Their own Stanley’s have reached many amazing countries and new places. Below are some pictures the students of Te Awa have sent in of their own Flat Stanley’s travelling the world. They have reached places such as Alaska, China, Canada, Sweden, Australia and many more. Each week we have learnt about a new country and explored the culture, food and landmarks it has to offer.
