At times students may need to have or take medication at school.  Please read the process below for this to be possible.

At times it may be necessary to administer prescribed medication to students when the parent or caregiver is unable to do so.  If this is the case it is important the medication is administered in accordance with instructions provided by the parent or caregiver on the Medicine Authority Form (as attached).

All medicine authority forms are kept in the Medical Folder and the prescribed medicine is kept in an area specified for the individual student i.e. fridge if required, or office, so that all staff know where to find it.
