This carpark due to its narrow entrance, the busyness of the Main North Road and its design with no footpath is a health and safety risk so last June we closed it as a drop off/pick up and pedestrian walkway

A reminder is needed as some parents and whanau have reverted to using this park as a carpark and or pedestrian pathway. This carpark Is for staff, service and vehicles displaying disabled signs only. Drop off and pickups are to be on School Road and or Rangiora Woodend Road. Pedestrian entrances are to be through the gates on the Main Road, School Road, the Woodend Rec, the Rangiora Woodend Road car park and Owen Stalker Park.

The change was and still is needed as we had an increase in students nearly being hit by other cars backing  and vehicles trying to enter and leave the entrance way at the same time creating a traffic jam on the Main Road.
