This seldom happens but we may close for a variety of reasons - bad weather, conditions which would make the school uninhabitable and or difficult to staff.

Where such conditions are likely to result in a general closure of schools in the area, your local radio station would probably be the best source of information.  Messages will also be emailed, put on our website etc.

The school would be closed at the discretion of the BOT Chairperson and Principal.  Parents will be contacted prior to pupils being permitted to leave the school grounds.  Should we not be able to contact parents on the contact number held in our records, pupils would be supervised t school until such a time as suitable arrangements can be made.  Each situation will determine our reaction to it.
