As you know, it’s that time of year again - the Woodend School Fair 2019 is coming up on the Sunday 15th of September!

This is it! We need YOU, our community, to help out for the school fair in the form of parent help, donations and sponsorship to make the day a success and to raise money for Woodend School.

Sponsorship

If you are able to contribute, either personally or as a business, we would love to hear from you! This may include products, experiences or delicious goods! (It can also be a way to promote your business!)

Parent Help

We have specific jobs that need your help on the day, even if only for an hour or two. Helping on a stall, taking money for food orders, taking money for attractions, selling cakes, helping to set up or pack down are just some of the areas we need assistance with.

Donations

The more donations we receive, the more we can fundraise for our school. Please bring your items to the classroom teacher on the dates given below. Each morning someone will come and collect these items. This year we are running a competition for the class that brings in the most donations and this class will receive a special prize.

Week 5 -19th-23th August -Family size blocks of chocolate

Week 6 - 26th-30th August-Desirable bottles for the famous mystery bottle draw (e.g. dessert sauces, fancy dressings, oils, delicious marinades) - No cans or alcohol please!

Week 8 - 13th September -Everyone loves homebaking and we are asking every family to bake a cake, biscuits or a yummy treat. We will send home a paper plate and instructions on Wednesday 11th September.

Please return it to school with the baking on it on Friday 13th September or bring it to the fair on the Sunday Morning.

Come on team, give us a hand and help us make this day a big success!
