In Week 1 the Woodend School debate teams competed against  Ohoka and Leithfield Schools.  Woodend 1 versed Ohoka School and won! The moot was "Celebrities are Not Good Role Models For Children".  Both Woodend teams were affirmative. The next day on Thursday Woodend 2 team versed Leithfield School with the same moot. Unfortunately they lost.

CLUBS

Today, Thursday the 25th Woodend 1 team, which is Ruby, Sharna, and Austin will verse Ashgrove School. The moot is Money Is More Useful Than Brains Which Woodend 1 team  is affirmative.

This term all of the clubs have changed

This term Ukulele Club with Mr Crawford will be held in Room 11 on a Wednesday lunch time. Also on at Wednesday lunch time will be Visual Arts club.

And at Thursday morning tea will be Choir

All of these club are still open to new members.

In second place is Kotare! Third place is Korimako,Fourth place is Tauhou! Fifth place is Kereru. And last but not least.. Tui!
