Some of Te Hāpua have been learning how to extend a sentence by using the 5 W's.

We have been choosing a focus/topic for each of the 5 W's - Who, What, Where, When and Why. We have then written our stories by joining our sentences together. We have started editing to make sure the make sense. We even read them out loud to practice listening to what they sound like! Some of them have turned out pretty funny!
