Moon & Beyond
Te Ngahere saw the conclusion of our Science unit with recreation of the scale of the universe on the rec.
In Science, Te Ngahere was tasked with the challenge of creating a scale model of 3 planets from our Solar System. The class had to figure out what scale we would use and then planned her planet creation around this. It was determined that our Solar System would be shrunk to fit within 85 metres with each planet being increased 2000x to allow a drone to see each planet from above.

Jump Jam Returns
Congratulations to the Woodend Moneymakers who performed in Tauranga over the weekend. The competition was fierce and the girls made us proud. Hopefully you got a wee bit of a lie in this morning. Big thanks to all the parents, community, and of course Miss Loose their coach!
