Students

We are very lucky to have two amazing students with us at the moment, from the New Zealand Graduate School of Education. Rachel Jeffcote and Awhi Vreugdenhil have written introduction letters for our parent and whanau community to read. Please find them attached below.

Basketball

Our five Te Ngahere teams are super excited for basketball to start next Friday on the 4th of March. Stay tuned for the draw mid next week. Another massive thank you to the parents and volunteers helping to make this possible.

Maths Buddy

We are excited to now have half of Te Ngahere on Maths Buddy engaging in a variety of tasks. It isn't too late if you would like to sign your child up for this amazing resource. Please pay the $30 to the office.

Algebra & the Wider Curriculum
We've enjoyed doing some exploration around Algebra with discovery rotations. Students are exploring patterns, solving puzzles and learning how to solve equations with unknown factors.

Surfing

Te Ngahere is still tentatively booked to go surfing on the 30th of March. Considering the current covid restrictions and unknown changes in the coming weeks, we are holding off a little longer to send permission slips, etc.

If the trip is to go ahead, it will be a cost of $34. We have been with surfcoach in 2020, and they provided a fantastic day for all regardless of swimming/surfing level.
