Check out some of our students work and a notice around surfing.

Surfing - 30th of March

Thank you to all parents who have returned permissions and especially those who are able to join us for the day. Miss Loose has been hard at work assigning students to cars and will have the list of who will be transporting and confirming those who can join us for the day.

Thank you to the families who have paid, if you have yet to do so, it's just $34.00 payable to the office.

If  you have not filled out the digital form or returned a physical printed form, could you please do so ASAP to confirm our final numbers.

Haiku

M Pakeke observed the turn of seasons and walked the park taking in the autumn colours, textures, and touch of the leaves. We returned to class and wrote, read, and performed haikus. We published these onto paper with a Zentangle Wist.

Stepsweb

WIth a literacy programme that uses Liz Kane's 'The Code' and various structured literacy facets, we love using stepsweb to practice our spelling and reading. Well done to the students who take initiative and do some at home. A big thank you to stepsweb for providing a great website for our students that aligns with our literacy objectivess.

Mathsbuddy

We currently have 61 of our 82 students signed up to Mathsbuddy.
If you wish to sign up - It is massively discounted and only $30 payable to the office.

Teamwork and showing our IBs

C Pakeke were able to take some time to engage in some group creativity, creating videos where they were challenged to demonstrated aspects of intelligent behaviours via a short film.

Congratulationss to

Savahn, Eli, Nevada, Mady, Ryan, Bella, and Stella who received  Intelligent Behaviour certificates. We will add them to this google photo album where we will post photos students who have received them each fortnight.

Covid Symptoms
If your child is showing any cold or flu symptoms ( runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore throat) they need to get a test and stay home until they are symptom free even if they receive a negative test result. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these tricky times.
