Woodend Family Cookbook

Kia ora e te whānau,

We are excited to announce a special fundraiser that brings our school community together through the joy of cooking! We invite all families to participate by sharing their favourite family recipes. These recipes will be compiled into a beautiful cookbook that will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going towards building new playgrounds.

How You Can Participate:

1. Submit Your Recipes: Please send in your favourite family recipes. Whether it’s a cherished family secret or a go-to weeknight dinner, we’d love to include it in our cookbook. You can submit your recipes by emailing them to l.moore@woodend.school.nz or dropping them off at the school office by August the 31st.

2. Pre-Order Your Cookbook: Once we have collected all the recipes, we will create a cookbook filled with delicious dishes from our community. We will provide details on how to pre-order your copy soon. These cookbooks make wonderful gifts and are a great way to share and enjoy the diverse culinary talents within our school community.

3. Spread the Word: Encourage friends and family to participate by submitting their recipes and ordering the cookbook. The more recipes we collect and the more books we sell, the more funds we will raise for our playground!

• Support Our Playground: All proceeds from the cookbook sales will go directly towards improving our school playground, creating a fun and safe space for our children to play and grow.

• Celebrate Our Community: This cookbook is a unique opportunity to celebrate the diversity and creativity of our school families. It’s a way to connect and share a piece of our lives with each other.

• Enjoy Delicious Recipes: Discover new favourite dishes and enjoy trying out the recipes shared by other families in our community.

• We look forward to receiving your wonderful recipes and seeing the delicious variety our community has to offer. Thank you for your support and participation in this meaningful fundraiser.
