The Clash is a competition at the New Zealand Agricultural Show run by Agrifutures where students will be put in teams of 4 to compete in rounds of agricultural tasks. The event itself will be on Wednesday 15th November and will run approx. 9am to 2pm. The students will be split into 2 Rounds so will compete for half of this time. Entry to the show will be included for those participating and they will have the opportunity to explore the show during the time they are not competing. There will also be an area called Pathways set up for them to explore - this is focused on showcasing careers and study opportunities available to students within the food and fibre sector. We have also been lucky enough to secure funding for buses to take us to and from the event, which means that there will be no costs! We are just waiting on confirmation from the bus regarding times but as the event starts at 9am students will be required to arrive at school early.
