Plantings Around Te Pou:

EERST (Environmental Education for Resource Sustainability Trust) through their Paper for Trees initiative donated some trees and shrubs to Woodend School in return for the hard work that the children do recycling their paper waste.

EERST donated 14 native plants which have been planted in the garden in front of Te Pou.

We look forward to enjoying the shade from the trees in years to come and seeing all of the birds that the native trees and shrubs attract.
