Jump Jam Snippets:

Over show weekend Woodend School was lucky enough to take 25 students and 7 adults to Tauranga for Jump Jam Nationals. This trip was an amazing experience for our two teams. Both of which worked as a team, displayed positivity, manners and an awesome sense of fun! The year 5 and 6 team did not place in Tauranga. However, they were told their category was the highest quality jump jam the judges had ever seen. The girls were so proud of this. Our year 7 and 8 team did so well and placed 2nd in their category. This was well deserved and such a fantastic achievement from these girls. Both teams were in the top ‘Ultimate’ category, so knew before they attended that they were in the top 7 teams in the country, for their age. Thank you to our amazing sponsors who got us there, the parent helpers, traveling parents, parents at home, siblings, teachers and coaches. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without all of these people supporting and helping with so many jobs and responsibilities.

We also entered a parent team as this was a new category and something fun. The winning team was to receive a jump jam kit full of songs for their school, for free! Our parent/coach team WON! This was such an amazing effort and we’re so proud of them.
