Kia ora e te whānau,
Term 1 Highlights
Term 1 has been a vibrant and positive start to 2025 at our kura! Here are some of the many highlights that have made this term so special:
Student Leader Camp
Our newly appointed student leaders kicked off the year with an inspiring leadership camp focused on teamwork, communication, and setting goals. They’ve already shown themselves to be excellent role models across the school.
School Assemblies
We’ve loved coming together to celebrate student achievements, share learning, and recognise those who consistently show our O Tātou Pou values.
Whare Manu Day
The spirit was high and teamwork on full display as students competed in a range of fun activities in their Whare groups. It was a great way to build friendships and pride early in the year.
Te Hapua and Te Awa Fun Run
Last week our tamariki had a blast taking part in their fun runs. It was awesome to see tamariki challenging themselves, supporting each other, and enjoying being active in the sunshine!
Sports Leaders & PALs
Our senior students have taken on leadership roles by running lunchtime games, promoting fair play, and encouraging participation across the school.
Mini Ball & Twilight Football
A huge thank you to coaches, parents, and supporters. Students have represented our school with pride, and shown fantastic commitment to teamwork and fair play in both mini ball and twilight football competitions.
Learning Across the Kura
Across all year levels, students have made strong starts to their learning. From setting goals in literacy and numeracy, to Embracing the power of change: From past to present, riding the winds of transformation to unlock growth, embrace new possibilities, gain Insights, and foster deeper understanding!,
There's been real progress and teachers have been impressed with the focus, curiosity, and growth mindset shown by our learners.
As we wrap up Term 1, we hope everyone enjoys the school holidays and takes time to relax and recharge over the break. Thank you for your ongoing support—see you all in Term 2
