Staff Bios: Toni Ryan

What do you like to do in your free time?

Crafting, Reading, riding horses and riding my motorbike.

How long have you worked at Woodend School and what team are you in now/2023?

I am in Te Peka and I started working at Woodend in 2004, I had a break to have my kids and came back full time in 2017.

What are your favourite things?

My favourite colour is pink, my favourite thing to do is spend time with family, and I love baking cheesecakes. 

Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. It had to be my job as it was my dream, I wanted to make learning more fun and easier to understand by still making it enjoyable for all.
