Woodend School Newsletter - 28th June 2023: Issue No: 12

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we finish the term we can reflect on a very busy one with many of our students involved in lots of exciting programmes and opportunities; Swimming, Korfball, Interschool Epro8 Challenge, Cross Country, Debating, Manu Kōrero at KHS, and Kapa Haka and Jump Jam visits.

This Thursday is Whare Manu day for all students (wear your house colours) and Friday is Sausage Sizzle and the Whole School Assembly at 9.15 am in the Community Centre.  All parents are invited to attend.

Support Staff Week: We are very fortunate to have such amazing support staff at our school and this week we are recognising them for all the work they do around the school and in the classrooms.

Monster Raffle:  The raffles are selling really well - thank you to all families for your support with these.  If anyone wishes more to sell during the holiday break, just pop into the office and ask.

We wish all families a restful holiday and look forward to seeing you all back next term on Monday 17th July.
