Junior Tough Guy and Gal Event – Extreme Off Road Running Event

After the popularity of last year’s event Woodstock School has secured 40 places in the Junior Tough Guy and Gal Event to be held Tuesday 18th June 2024.

This popular event is a chance for primary and intermediate aged kids to get involved in New Zealand’s biggest mud run series in a version tailored especially for them! The Junior Tough Guys and Gals will take on a 1.5km or 3 km muddy obstacle course consisting of swamp crossings, a spider’s web net climb, crawl under obstacles, beautiful native bush trails, tunnels, hurdles, a climbing frame, water crossings and not to mention, mud mud and more mud!

All competitors will receive a special finishers medal for taking part.

1.5km Course Option – For school years 3 – 4
3km Course Option – For school years 5 – 6

We are offering the opportunity for Year 4-6 children to enter this event. As it is an additional activity, the full cost of the event must be paid by parents/caregivers. We anticipate this to be a popular activity, so it will be offered on a first to pay basis. We have booked a bus to transport our students to and from the event. (Don’t worry, there are hot showers provided to wash off the mud before the students get back on the bus). The total cost of the event plus the bus will be $46.50. For this price the children will receive a medal as well as a variety of sponsor’s gift cards. We ask that all children travel by bus to ensure our costs remain within budget.
