Kia ora koutou,

At the recent Cluster Athletics event held at Southwell School on Monday, 25th of November we had a fantastic group of 34 keen students who represented our school with pride and determination.

Our students competed in a range of events, including the Cricket Ball Throw, High Jump, Long Jump, 800m, 100m Sprint, and the 4x100 Relay. The day was filled with amazing performances and some fantastic results. 

A special congratulations to the following tamariki who achieved a top 3 placing in their events:

• Year 6 Girls High Jump:  Layzell Moosman - 2nd Place

• Year 6 Girls Cricket Ball Throw: Layzell Moosman 3rd Place

• Year 6 Boys Long Jump:  Ryan Stewart - 1st Place

• Year 6 Girls Long Jump: Kody-Reign Broomhall - 1st Place

• Year 6 Boys 100m Sprints: Ryan Stewart - 1st Place

• Year 6 Boys 100m Sprints: Louie Marra - 3rd Place

• Year 6 Girls 4x100m Relay Team: (Lola Frewen, Milah Peters, Layzell Moosman, & Kody-Reign Broomhall) - 2nd Place

• Year 6 Boys 4x100m Relay Team: (Ryan Stewart, Israel Brouwer, Louie Marra, & Charlie Lamberton) - 1st Place

• Year 5 Boys 800m: Antonio Waugh Gamondes - 3rd Place

We also had an amazing group of supporters at the event. Your encouragement and presence made a huge difference, and we couldn't have done it without you. 

We are so proud of all our students for their hard work and sportsmanship.
