Camp Raglan
Last week our Pōhutukawa Syndicate headed to Camp Raglan for three incredible days away. Our camp was full of challenges, adventures, fun…and mud, lots of mud! Our outstanding students showed our Woodstock Values the whole time we were away. Each and every student challenged themselves and gave every activity their very best - we are so proud of them! 🙂
A huge thank you must go to all of the adults who gave up their time to come to camp with us, you were all phenomenal and were key players in the camp's success.
Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the students for camp, including all the delicious baking that was sent along for us to enjoy. We appreciate all the support we received in the lead-up to camp and upon our arrival back at school.
Some of our students' reflections:
I think that Camp Raglan was a great opportunity for trying new experiences and showing skills that you already know. The camp talent show acts were great and I’m sure that the audience and the people performing had a great time showing their talents to the crowd. ‘Adele,’ I hope you enjoyed our show and please give us a shout-out at your next performance. Overall, this was a great time for us to truly find our skills, make new friends and face our fears. I personally think that Woodstock Camp Raglan 2023 was a HUGE success. Madison
I had fun at camp! The activities were awesome and getting muddy was ‘interesting’! Our cabin was nice because we had great people and super leaders too. I also enjoyed the delicious meals; my favourite was the roast. Victoria
My favourite thing at camp was the BMX because it was fun riding the bikes. I enjoyed playing with my friends in the gym. The hamburgers were my favourite meal because they were nice and big! Markus
Camp was amazing! I got to learn new things like archery and air rifles. My favourite activity was the water slide because it was really steep and we had a mud fight on the way back up! Milah W
