Grandparents Day - Wednesday 23rd November
9am: Book Character parade - Come and watch your grandchildren show off their favourite book characters in their costumes, on the school turf.
9.30am: Classroom Visits - Please take this opportunity to visit your grandchild’s classroom so they can share with you their incredible learning.
9.30-10.00am Book Fair/Tea and Scones - The Book Fair will be open during this time (adults only) for you to come and purchase books. Then come to the staffroom for a refreshing cup of tea and a scone.
10.15am - Enjoy a picnic for morning tea (bring a picnic rug and some morning tea) while watching our Kapa Haka and Pasifika groups performing, especially for you.
11.00am Children return to classrooms and Grandparents day concludes.
Everyone who purchases a book during the event, will go into the draw to win one of the many lovely book prizes (kindly donated from Scholastic).
The Book Fair creates an enjoyable opportunity for your whole family to get excited about books, reading and learning. We look forward to your support of this event and our school library.
Kind regards,
