Newsletter/FB week 4 message
Kia ora koutou,
We are excited to show you our Kauri and Pōhutukawa syndicate production ‘About Time - A Woodstock Story’. All of our classes have been working hard to bring this story to life. Tickets to our four shows are on sale via Kindo. Adult/Teen (13 years and over) tickets will cost $10 and Children (2 - 12 years old) will cost $5. Children under 2 are free. These can be purchased online and the tickets will be given out at school prior to the show.
We have two matinee shows which will start at 1pm. There will also be two night shows which will start at 6pm. Our performances will be on Wednesday 11th September and Thursday 12th September.
We have so many talented performers at our kura so have created two casts: Cast Amazing and Cast Brilliant!
Cast Amazing will star Charlotte Marshall, Finn Mitchell, Celeste D’Amours, Milah Peters, Ryan Stewart, Thea Urlich, Freddy Park, Maxine Jacoby, Alby Tipene and Charlie Lamberton.
Cast Brilliant will star Hazel Blackmore, Amelie Jewkes, Lacey Hayward, Imogen Wastney, Finn Cameron, Taylah-Rose Ormsby, Charlee Jane Flaxman, Pedro Nordstrom, Macsen de Malmanche and Muhamedwali Nour.
Cast Brilliant will lead our Wednesday 1pm matinee show as well as the Thursday 6pm night show.
Cast Amazing will lead the Wednesday 6pm night show and the Thursday 1pm matinee show.
Our Year 1 and 2 students will get to see the show at school during the dress rehearsals.
If you want to see a particular main cast member performance, please purchase a ticket to the corresponding show on Kindo. Rooms 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17 will be performing their class scene at each show. We will have 180 tickets for each show available but would love to fill out both the matinee and night performances so everyone gets to experience the hard work the students and staff have put in. If you and whānau are able to attend the matinee show, please take this opportunity as the evening shows will sell out quickly.
Please also be aware that children under 2 years of age are required to be seated on an adult's lap. This is due to limited seating.
