Cultural Celebration Week - Term 3, Week 1
Kia ora Woodstock whānau,
We are excited to kick off Term 3, Week 1 (14–18 July) by celebrating and acknowledging the amazing cultures that make our school such a vibrant, inclusive, and joyful place to be.
Each day of the week we will focus on a different culture, with a colour dress-up theme and a fun lunchtime activity. We invite all tamariki and whānau to join in the celebration by dressing up, participating and helping out where you can.
We’ll begin the week by celebrating Canada on Monday. As food is such a huge part of cultural celebration, we’re planning a Pancake Day for the whole school!
To make this happen, we kindly ask for your support in the following ways:
Each class provides 5 pancake mixes (approx. $2.80 each from Woolworths).
Portable hot plates for cooking (please label these clearly).
2–3 parent volunteers per class to help cook pancakes from 11:30am, ready for lunchtime.
If you're able to help or donate any items, please let your child’s teacher know as soon as possible. Any support, big or small, is truly appreciated.
