Accepting pre-enrolments now! Yaldhurst School Tōtara Tūkaha provides an excellent education for Year 1-8 students. Enrolment enquiries are welcome for all levels of the school.

We are happy to consider out-of-zone enrolments as long as they fit within the timeframe of the CPPA Ballot Enrolment Scheme (below), which outlines the CPPA Ballot Enrolment Scheme timeframes.

Prospective families are encouraged to contact us sooner rather than later if you wish to enrol your child in our school. This includes all out of zone students including siblings who wish to start.

Our school's Executive Officer/Secretary will happily arrange a time for the Principal to show you around the school and answer any questions you may have.

Our New Entrant enrolment procedure includes pre-visits to our superb Te Kākano New Entrant class before your child begins school.

Yaldhurst School Tōtara Tūkaha-Cohort Entry Dates 2026

Once your child turns 5 you can choose any of the dates below for enrolment. They can’t start before they turn 5 but must start by the time they turn 6.

The start dates are set by the Ministry of Education. Schools using cohort entry must use these dates and cannot change them.
