During Term 4, the Year 7 and 8 Rimu students will be going to Wellington for camp.

We will be visiting lots of places. All of the Year 7 and 8 students are very excited for the trip.

We will be going to a hotel and will be staying for four nights.

We will do lots of fun activities, like Laser-Strike, the Weta Workshop, kayaking, rock climbing, multi-player gaming, space place and going to Parliament and the Wellington Museum, plus many others!

We will be leaving on Monday at 8:35am and we’ll return on Friday at 2:35pm.

Our camp costs lots of money, around $1000 for each person. We have been working hard to raise money to help pay for camp. We have written to businesses to ask for help. We have had a meat raffle. We have had a pizza evening at Winnie Bagoes & a Make Up Night; these each raised over $200 each. Over the past four weeks we were cleaning the school every night so we could enough money for camp.

This week we are having a bake sale so you can have sweet treats and so we can earn money so we could make this camp happen. This is on THIS THURSDAY after the Hero Assembly. So please bring some money and buy a cup cake or biscuit. They will be delicious.
