We are a PB4L School. PB4L stands for ‘Positive Behaviour 4 Learning’ but we prefer to call it PC4L - 'Positive Culture 4 Learning.'

PC4L is a research-based initiative explicitly teaches and acknowledges positive behaviours. It is a highly regarded programme that is used widely across New Zealand.

PC4L helps our school create a positive culture and learning environment where students have the best chance to grow both socially and academically.

At our school, PC4L is a framework that:

• Uses proven strategies and clear data to guide what we do

• Involves everyone

• Responds to the cultural needs of our learners

• Is clearly visible in our everyday routines and practices

• Supports a safe, calm, and positive place for learning
