Tēnā koutou,

My name is Jingjing Chen (陈晶晶) and I am working with Ruby Adams in Te Pihinga class until the school holidays.

I come from Fujian, a province on the southeastern coast of China and now I am studying at the University of Canterbury. I got a Bachelor of Science in China five years ago but after travelling and working, I decided to devote myself to education. I am passionate about integrating knowledge into nature and place-based learning. 

In my own time, I love to spend time with friends, travel, cook, hike and do any outdoor activities.

I am super excited to be a part of YMS and to meet every one of you at school.

Hi my name is Joseph Loan and it is my pleasure to be working in Te Kākano with Heather Tebett and Gabrielle Lange. I am from Christchurch and am in my final year of a Bachelors or Teaching and Learning. 

Outside of classes I love being around my friends and family, cooking and playing basketball. 

I'm very excited to be involved with the school and being a part of the community.
