Here is an update from our wonderful PTA.

The PTA held their AGM on Thursday 15th February. We had a great turnout of new parents interested to see what our PTA is all about. We are very excited to have voted in a new committee of 15 parents (9 of these new members). Our officer positions were taken by Barbara Tie - President; Tania Mugford - Vice-President; Danielle McRae - Secretary and Sarah Lowery - Treasurer.

The new committee will make themselves known around the school at upcoming fundraisers and events, including the Year 1 and 2 Camp in March. See photo of the 2018 PTA.

We have also introduced a “Friends of the PTA” this year. This is for those who want to help with PTA fundraisers and activities but do not want to be a PTA member. If you are interested in this then please email pta@yaldhurst.school.nz with your name, phone number and preferred email address. We will put you on the list and contact you when we need helpers.

We also plan to send a very quick survey out to all parents to get your feedback on what our PTA should be doing this year and how you prefer to support the efforts of the PTA. We are very keen to get your feedback on this so would really appreciate it if you could all please fill in the survey.
