What a YMS Team who represented YMS at the Selwyn Zones!

Our YMS athletes competed today at Nāi Puna Wai.  "Great Team Spirit" is the phrase of the day!  Each school was represented by 6 - 10 athletes from each competing school with 40-45 competitors per race.  Our YMS Team representatives were stunning!  A great attitude and team spirit was displayed by all students who cheered and supported their peers from the sidelines 🏅

An outstanding performance from Angus who placed second in the year 6 boys, 2km course.  Angus led the race and only overtaken in the last 100 meters.   A whopping congratulations to ALL of our athletes who gave their all and represented our school.
