URU MANUKA CULTURAL FESTIVAL Wednesday 1 November

Allan Robertson —

All of our students are invited to perform the Kapa haka items they have been learning all year. We would love all of our students to perform at this wonderful event. The more of us that perform the stronger our school will be.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The Uru Manuka Cluster warmly invites you to attend our cultural festival on Wednesday 1st November, 2017. This year we have seven schools participating in the festival;

 Sockburn School

 Hornby High School

 Gilberthorpe School

 Hornby Primary School

 South Hornby School

 Yaldhurst Model School

 Templeton Primary School

In total there will be approximately 500 children performing.

This will be a wonderful performance event for the groups involved. The Festival will be held at the Aurora Centre (Burnside High).

The show will start at 7.00pm (doors open at 6.30pm) with an estimated finish time of 9.00pm.

More information about the time your child is to  arrive will be available once the programme has been finalised.

Seating will be limited to two tickets per family at a cost of $5 per ticket. Please note that seats will be allocated on a first in first served basis. Toddlers / babies must have a ticket due to fire regulations. A paper ticket order form is coming home with children today. Please check in your child's school bag.

If there are any extra tickets we will allocate these 23th – 25th October.

Please return the order form to your school and we will allocate the tickets and have them to your school by Friday 27th October.

We would like to thank you for your ongoing support as we head into this exciting performance.

We hope that you will enjoy the performance as much as we have enjoyed putting it together for you.

Regards,

Andrew Mouat
