Senior Swimming Sports
It was a great afternoon with all of the students entering plenty of races. Here is the promised video of our Senior Sports from a few weeks ago. We will hold an assembly to give out certificates to the placegetters in the coming weeks.
Selwyn Zone Swimming Sports Representatives
Last week three YMS students competed at the Selwyn Zone Swimming Sports. Amelia, Stella and Erika swam really well against tough competition. Stella managed to win her breaststroke heat which was a great effort.
YMS Have-a-Go Tryathlon Friday 12 March
What a great turnout on Friday afternoon! Thank you to everyone who helped make out Tryathlon for Fun happen on Friday. It was so great to see our tamariki challenging themselves and in many cases giving something new a go.
Basketball
This year we will be putting Year 5 / 6 teams into the Wharanui Gators competition again. This year games will be 3 versus 3 players and on a shortened court.

This will be held early in Term 2, it is not too early to get your darlings out training!
