Swimming Pool water is warming up! + A surprise is in store.

Thank you to everyone who remembered to bring their swimming gear today. The water was just a little bit cold today but very soon we will be able to go in.
You may have noticed that we are a few days behind our usual time for having the pool ready and warm(ish). There are two main reasons why we have just filled the pool.
The first is that we had to make sure the pool was completely fenced before we could fill it. The fencing process is connected to our nearly completed rebuild and so we did need to wait until the fencing was secure.
The second reason we have had to wait is that our school has been the fortunate recipients of some amazing generosity by a local business and associated firms. We will be sending out more information about this in the near future. In short we have completely new swimming pool surrounds. There is new seating and new concrete. As I said there will be more information in the near future on how we are going to express our gratitude for the generous donations of time and materials to our school.
