Our year 3 and 4 students leave for camp on Wednesday. We wish them all an awesome adventure!

There is a lot in the media at the moment about the teaching of Reading and Writing, and the government's plan to mandate Structured Literacy for Years 1-3. We have been using a Structured Literacy approach at Years 1-6 since 2022, so feel we are already well prepared for any decisions to come.

We are an active bunch at Yaldhurst School Tōtara Tūkaha Sports. we have been involved in a few events this term and some more active fun next term.

The Maths Whizz programme is designed to accelerate learning progress in Mathematics. Children who achieve at least three blue gems(progressions) each week are on track to accelerate their progress, and this has been acknowledged today with the Green Tick Certificates given out in class. Check out the photos to see the 88 children who earned their Term 1 certificate.
