Sumner Beach Trip

Our Year 1 and Year 2 students had the most amazing trip to Sumner last Thursday. Thank you to all the parents who were able to come along for the day.
We went exploring through Cave Rock - Mr Robertson lead us in a song of Row, row, row your boat.
We went on a scavenger hunt around Sumner beach where we needed to take a few photos - and strike some poses!
Sandcastle building was also a must - and a huge highlight.
Lastly, to finish the day we spent time with Tracy from the Christchurch City Council who worked with us on exploring the shoreline. We learnt about where different creatures live in the beach environment.
