Late Pick Ups Causing Concern

Catherine CorcoranFebruary 9, 2024

"I don't have to be at school on the dot of three. There are plenty of teachers and parents hanging around." But, who is specifically watching your child and keeping them safe? All children must have an adult at school at 3pm

Over the past week, we have had two incidents where unsupervised children have been at risk of being seriously hurt after school has finished for the day.

We understand that occasionally everyone gets caught up in traffic or with an unexpected event. After receiving a quick phone call in the school office, we are very happy to keep your child safe until you arrive.

Unfortunately, quite a few children are being left unsupervised in the playground until well after 3pm, and this is not appropriate or safe.

Please ensure an adult arrives at school by 3pm every day, to pick up or supervise your child.
